Plexyphoresis
... a word based on the concept of Plasmapheresis: the removal, treatment and return or exchange of blood plasma or components thereof from and to the blood circulation. As an extracorporeal therapy it is a medical procedure performed outside the body.
The track interprets the musical sound of this very complex (and in this case imaginary) exchange of something that we as listeners (and as an artist during the scaffolding I am myself the listener of what emerges in the course of the sounds) interpret as something that can be characterised as blood if one wants to. Or as an energy or substance of an unknown nature(?)
Body, mind and the machines that exchanges experience the process on their own dimensions of perception.
There is fear and hope...

- Hope is interspersed in the track by a sample of the New York trumpeter James Hill, which he kindly gave me and which I changed through various digital processes of cutting, tuning and stretching until it was integrated into the sound.
All the other sounds are created in my own studio.
The attached pictures give an impression of what happened on the visual level... (I thought I read that you were also interested in visual embellishments in connection with the music, Raffaele. If not - please ignore them).
