I am an admirer of the work of Argentinian artist Raquel Rabinovich and have a copy of her book The Dark is the Source of Light. This includes her investigations into the nature of existence through an exploration of what she calls “the dark,” that which is “concealed beneath the surface of objects, of words, of thoughts, of the world.” My piece “Crossing the Perilous Line” is influenced by this work.

I am a sound artist working with minimal recorded sound (location, radiophonic, found). All recorded sound is a document of the past (much like photographs). My sound work is an exploration of space, time and location and like the universe in which we live is influenced by change, order and randomness.

My work has been featured at Iklectik Arts Space (London), Barcelona Festival of Sound Art, Radiophrenia Radio Arts Festival (Glasgow), Camp Radio (France), Framework Radio (Europe), Max Protetch Gallery (NYC), Currents 826 Gallery (Santa Fe), Phoenix Art Museum, and more. I present a monthly radio show ‘Sound Across Distance’ on Camp Radio.
