MUTATION URBAINE started in 2008 by Alexandre Garcia in Paris.
Composer, arranger and performer, he records, mixes and also creates the graphics of his albums. Of classic formation, stemming from the industrial stage, he plays the classic / folk/ electric guitar,
bass/ baritone and practical computers, samplers and synths.
MUTATION URBAINE can be considered as a virtual cinematic projection,incorporating painting, photography, music and poetry, as though images and music became one.
The project's name was inspired by 'Périphériques', the book by Maurice G Dantec. Mainly directed to a neoclassic, minimalist, post-industrial , ambient, post-rock, Electronic, psychedelic, neo-folk music, experimental and other...The 1st demo, "Ville Imaginaire" (6 works) was released in 2009 by the net label Moscow Clinical Archives, and has been downloaded 25,000 times.
Very profoundly inspired by the poetry, the painting, the cinema and the disappeared civilizations, his universe reflects a deep, organic, visceral, introspective vision and desperate person but also optimist of the fact that is becoming our world.
