A.D.D.
is Mike Furnish of Winnipeg, Canada.

Plays – Korg Micro, Roland SH-32, Novation Bass Station II and loopers.

- his interest in Noise and Experimental sounds started while listening to short-wave radio as a youth in the 1960s where he became fascinated by the beautiful sounds that he found tuning in between the stations.

- seeing Robert Fripp perform Frippertronics Live in the late 70's. Listening to Amon Duul II and Tangerine Dream and acquiring each new Brian Eno album as it was released were influential in the music he is making today.

- after many years of attending and working at Winnipeg's Send + Receive Festival of Sound he decided at 60 years of age to give performing a try and bought a small Korg Monotribe synthesizer, a cheap effects pedal and a mixer.

- since then he has acquired several analogue synths and an assortment of pedals and boxes. He has a very tolerant wife.

scReam@BeLLS
is Ray Iftody of Winnipeg, Canada

Plays - cheap keyboards, various effects pedals and tape loop systems
- took an early interest in experimental sounds when he first heard the music of Robert Fripp and his collaborations with Brian Eno, plus other progressive rock influences.

- began experiments in recording with old tape recorders and cheap keyboards in 1988

- continues to expand his collection of effects pedals, stomp boxes and used gear.

- inspired by artists he encountered at early editions of Winnipeg's Send+Receive Festival, he expanded his home studio and continues recording and collaborating.

This piece “In The Underground Factory” is taken from the limited edition cassette "s/t" released on Dub Ditch Records. and could be looked at as an unofficial soundtrack for Fritz Lang’s 1927 film "Metropolis".

Mike Furnish says “This came about when I was watching the film on television and found the orchestral soundtrack very bland and it detracted from the story that was unfolding. I decided to try playing our newly recorded tracks alongside the film instead, and discovered them to be an good fit.

Dub Ditch Records‘ label head Chris Jacques describes their album as “Engaging loops and drones meet synth drift head on for an alternate retelling of Lang's Sci-Fi classic.”

Mike Furnish is one of the hosts of the S.A.N.E.* Music radio program on CKUW 95.9FM in Winnipeg, Canada.
